EuroPD on diabetes and kidney disease
One of the EuroPd lectures develops on the theme of diabetes and kidney disease. It's Professor Olof Heimburger's specialty and he was willing to spend some time with our reporters in the EuroPD News studio.

When you mention the history of EuroPD, Professor John Williams helped writing it. From the very beginning, he has been a pioneer in defining the mission, building the programme, and setting the standard for this European meeting on peritoneal dialysis. Elderly patients

Dutch government criticized
Professor Ray Krediet feels the promotion of peritoneal dialysis in the Netherlands is compromised by legislation. The tendancy to look at health issues from a pure market perspective has a negative impact on pd penetration, he thinks. In an interview with EuroPD news Professor Krediet has an open message for his health minister.
